feel sorry for him? he's getting 5 million a year (is that right?) to do a crappy job. we should all have it so rough.

and while a lot of things are personnel problems, his refusal to change even a little is all on him and is killing this team. let the 5 million dollar man endure a little heckling. Lord knows he seemed to get raving reviews for our whopping 2 win increase last year.

He's never heard the Garden crowd chant FIRE Gundy!... I was at the Rockets game at Madison Garden when the crowd started chanting FIRE Cheaney! Hearing the entire MSG crowd chanting that was ugly. Nevertheless I would've loved to been there hearing them chant Fire Gundy! :D

Great stories, guys--it makes a very difficult situation a little easier to deal with when there are things to smile at.
I love the Rockets. I will always love them--this team is seriously a part of me and is capable of bringing me more joy than almost anything in this world. I WANT Van Gundy to succeed, and I think most of you do as well. But I think it's about time he received the treatment he's so fond of giving out. When any of Houston's players make a mistake or do something he doesn't like, they are accountable to him and he has the right to cuss them out. So likewise, we should share that right when we are not happy with the product that he is turning out on the floor.
As great as all of this is, I'm sure he's heard far worse. New York is a rough place. :) But maybe this WILL inspire him to change something. Maybe he needed to get a little bit of passion from the fans' end, positive OR negative. As long as he's a Rocket, I wish him all the best and hope things work out. But when this team, with this personnel, plays THIS badly, it needs to be done.

    Nice job, Rockets03.

Yeah i agree that not all the blame is on Van Grumpy. CD and the players are at a fault also. However, its the coach's responsibility to get the team prepared and ready to play every night and Grumpy just hasnt done that so far. I hope the players havnt given up on this season because a good december can get them back in the playoof race.
