Hooo-leee Jesus! What a night! We just watched history being made. The only thing that could top this (WS aside) would be to find out that RoyO's injury is minor and he was taken out as a precaution.
Hats off to the Astros...a terrific team performance. It's always nice to see the Yanks get embarrassed.
Right here Is there any doubt now that the Astros have the BEST bullpen in all of baseball? I think not!!! In the words of Gene Peterson: HOW SWEET IT IS!!!
it sure did ... for the yankees! damn this was sweet. luckily i started watching in the 5th. i was so damn nervous. once dotel came in, it was hard to sit still. i almost didn't want wags to come in, but he has been lights out recently so i was fairly comfortable. then when matsui made contact, scared me to death (and it was surprising since the previous 8 guys hadn't put the ball in play). man, no-hitting the yankees in our 2nd game against them ever. i've only been able to really watch one no-hitter, and it was when we were being no-hit by pittsburgh. damn this was sweet.
This is so awesome. I have never seen a no-hit game on TV in my whole 20 years. This is freaking awesome. Saarloos and Munro...what can you say? Who woulda thought?! The poor widdle Yanks were baby!!!!
man i missed this due to my softball game which we lost. but thanks to sportscenter ill see it at 1am...woohooo
I can't believe my luck!!! If it wasn't for doctors appts, I would've been there for the game, and then would've headed to Boston. AHHH!!! Oh well. At least I caught another baseball game; the Rickwood Classic. Oldest standing ballpark in the world. VERY nice place; it was a great little ballpark and a great game. Too bad there were only about 3,000 in an 8,000 seat park. These fans just take their Barons for granted. btw, Rickwood Field is apparently open to the public, so you can actually go and play catch or whatever since it's a public place. It was really nice, too bad I wasn't in the Bronx though.
