i'm feel a little bad for being this excited because not everyone gets to go but I'M GOING TO THE SHOW BABY!!!!! Won the 2nd chance lottery. I probably would have forgottn to check if not for clutchfans and this thread!!! I love clutchfans! I got 4 separate tickets to Game 4. Three of them are amazing, in section 118 and 116, just below the pressbox, pretty close to home plate. Just amazing. It's my wife's birthday today and she loves the stros. We're taking our dads to the game. BRANDON BA-CKE, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP-CLAP-CLAP! BA-CKE!! BA-CKE!!! BA-CKE!!! I would have picked game 5 and per my sig, predict that we'll win the whole thing then. But I just couldn't risk the chance that we sweep in 4. I'm going to represent big time.

I don't care if this is the Astros first World Series...these prices these tickets are being scalped for our ridiculous. Why don't I just sign over my car and house while I'm at it? I'm starting to think the best way to get tickets is to show up an hour before the game and buy them from scalpers who have to sell them at highly reduced prices just to unload them. Or, else, a lot of these tickets are going to go unsold.

said it once, and i'll say it again. **** the lottery. I usually don't have any problem with people making money off of tickets... but again, it's because the real fans have the same opportunity to get the tickets. Here, where thousands of diehards don't even get the chance... it sucks. Why can't they even rope off a few hundred seats or something for sale to the general public? I don't have to win... I'd just like to have the chance to try. Hell, I'd like to have the chance to pay 4 times face value to get in... and as ridiculous as that sounds, that's not even half of what most tickets are going for.
It's sad that a member I can have so much respect for with regards to his Rockets contributions can be so sleazy as to buy tickets he doesn't want just to resell them.
I agree with the Cat, I hate the lottery, I especially hate the way its based on email addresses, so scalpers can create a ton of email addresses and buy tickets that way. But, I can't fault anyone who sells their tickets because there is a whole lot of money to be made by doing so.

The guys who are getting pissed....what did you expect me to do? I knew that is how much I was going to get before buying them. I guess I should have passed them up so you guys could get in?
Quick question guys. I dont feel like starting another thread... Did seaon ticket holders get 1st priority for playoff tickets and the world series? I've always said that once I graduate college my first big purchase when I get a real job will be 2 season tickets for the Rockets. I don't want to be left in the dust "once" the rockets make the finals if thats the case I might just play it game by game.

Just understand that theres alot of die hard fans on this board, it is a dream come true that the Astros are in the world series for us. Most of us cant even explain how happy we would be to attend a game. Congrats on the money made. But of course your going to get flamed if come here bragging that you got tickets that few of us got. And than boasting how your going to sell them. What did you expect???
