Absolutely. Despite the no hitter, the Phillies still had life. Game 5 showed it, they just couldn’t get the timely hits. But the two defensive plays from the bottom of the 8th and 9th and Pressly shutting them down was what took the life out of them. The 8th and 9th inning was the straw that broke the camels back.

If the Phillies had won game 5, they would have had life for Game 6 and there would have been a good chance that the Phillies could have won it in 6 or 7 games.

Yeah okay, Philly still had life Game 5 despite the no-hitter

Did Philly still have life Game 6 too after the defensive gems in Game 5? They had a lead in Game 6

What's your answer to the question at hand? Phillies win Game 4, does their Game 5 life matter as much as you say?

Technically, Philly had life 9th inning in Game 6 when they had the tying-run on deck for 2 straight batters. One of those batters is among the best hitters in baseball

Any series isn't over until it's over. The thread is talking about the "turn"

Philly was leading the series and undefeated at home prior to Game 4 after a blowout win. There was no guarantee MMP would host another game

Philly held a lead for 20 minutes total in 10 hours of game-play after Game 3

Game 5, Mancini stop. That ball gets by him in a one run game where the Phil's score 2 and things may be different. The Chaz catch was nice, but 0 runs were on the line.

Q: Did Philly still have life Game 6 too after the defensive gems in Game 5? They had a lead in Game 6

A: No, Philly was pressing come Game 6 until Kyle hit the solo ahot. So we’re the Astros as both Wheeler and Framber were both dealing. Kyle solo shot broke through first, but the Astros answered big time on the other side of the inning that delivered the final TKO.

Q: What's your answer to the question at hand? Phillies win Game 4, does their Game 5 life matter as much as you say?

A: Had the Phillies won Game 4, I believe the Astros would have lost the series. Either in 5 or 6 games…. Yes Game 5 mattered because it became the swing game for both teams. Even with the no hitter from Game 4, the Phillies played with life. So did the Astros. Game 5 was anyone game.

How is it non-sense? It’s a opinion. Game 4 no-hitter brought the Astros back into the series, but things didn’t turn until Game 5. Was the most important game of the series for both teams.

Lol you can boo it. By all means though, I am not saying the no hitter wasn’t awesome. But it totally was!

I think being shutdown in Game 4 was the start of the slide for the Phillies and was game over when Schwarber tried to bunt himself on...

    Psychology is a powerful thing.

The Phillies were invincible at home until they weren't.
