    This is beginning to look like the biggest choke job since the Oilers went to Buffalo.

    GAWD...come on Astros....be aggressive, early in the count...they are taking FAR too many pitches right down the middle.

    Rusch + Jermoe Williams in this series.....13 IP...the Astros have 3 ER off of them. It's just embarrassing. The Phillies have done their damage on the road against two much better pitchers in Livan Hernandez and Patterson.

    Uhh, what the heck are you talking about? Lane has gone above and beyond the call of duty for his paygrade this year. 64 runs, 135 hits, 34 doubles, 4 triples, 25 home runs, 76 RBIs, 6 stolen bases and a .265 average all for $345,000.

    Anyone watching the Phils/Nats game?

    Is Patterson grooving his pitches or something? Dude's given up 6ER in five innings, and his ERA has gone up 0.2 in this game alone!

    This was the one game of the Nats series that I thought the Phillies were sure to lose...

    Frustrating.

    The Phils remind me a lot of the Astros from last yr the way they are playing w/ ice in their veins. The pressure doesn't seem to be getting to them.

    Watching it...he's not especially grooving em. Phillies are pretty zoned in on a few.. for ex, the pitch to Howard was a decent fastball on the inside corner at the knees. Howard looked like he was ready for that and just turned on it in a flash. That guy looks like the real deal........

    Patterson being yanked right now..finally
