    If we lose 4 out of 5 vs Cubs...HOW are we supposed to beat the Braves? :confused:

    how many innings would it take for our lineup to score two runs off a guy like lidge, even if he was off? 25, 30?

    One other thing.

    This Cubs team is ready to LAY DOWN for the Astros, but you have to get up on them early....

    When you leave teams in it, they get interested and think they have a chance.

    We need to BUST out the wood tomorrow......I hope Roger's hammy is healed.

    What would you guys prefer? We get swept v Cubs to end season or we get swept by Atlanta in the 1st rd?

    Does the Braves season depend on beating Colorado? The thing is, we had our best pitcher going vs. a below avg team in the Cubs, and we HAD to have this game (or else we HAVE to win tomorrow w/ an iffy Rocket) and Sunday (vs. a perrenial Astro killer in Maddux)

    His save tonight was very shaky, which is typical of him very late in the season and in the playoffs. Still, his full season numbers are outta sight.

    And for those of you who don't recall, we qualified last year as a wild card by ONE game.

    Umm, we didn't HAVE to have this game. Philly HAD to win. When you're up 2 games with 3 to go, you only *have* to win 1 out of 3 to keep your season alive. It would be nice to win, but even great baseball teams lose 35-40% of their games. You go out and play tomorrow and try to clinch a tie or WC then.
