the ball flys when the roof is open. I'd rather take our chances with it closed considering Villone is pitching.

Wouldn't count on it. Mark Prior is very good. First Pirate got on and then 3 easy outs, two strikeouts. The only positive was that it was a 22 pitch inning for Prior. THe Cubs bullpen is disastrous.

Kenny Lofton singles for the Cubs.

Ron Villone has come to pitch today.

In his last 5 starts hes was 0-3 with about a 6 ERA.

Not today, looks like a low scoring game

Well, Josh Fogg has come to pitch today. 2 innings, 22 pitches, 1 hit, 0 walks in two innings against the Cubs so far. Keep it up.

Oh well, doesn;t matter I guess. You have to take care of your own and the Astros aren't doing that. Two extremely stupid fielding plays and instead of giving up just one, we are now trailing.

did i miss when we became the WORST TEAM EVER! my god, after all the errors last night, we have biggio turning a double into a triple and everett chunking a ball away, even if he wouldn't have gotten him. we must've left 2 people on base 6 times yesterday and now we've already racked up a bases loaded inning ending double play.

and how many runs is milw going to get of of weakly hit balls? sexson's double last night w/ 2 outs in the 2nd that extended the inning was a blooper and just barely fell in, podsednik should've had a single practically, then they get a damn infield single.

meanwhile we line out all over the place.

edit: F-ing finally we get a break. a line drive and they have to drop it for it to work out.

The Astros don't deserve to win for not opening the roof on the most beautiful day of the year.

I thought that was a great effort by Biggio. Now you can't tell me this game doesnt mean a lot to him. I want to see more of that.

I hope Fox isn't going to pull this crap all game long with the split screen (especially when the Cubs game is a bigger screen than the Stros).

i don't mind it when there is some kind of development in the game, but yes, the astros should be on the big screen

To split or not to split. That seems to be the question.
