I was there as well. I was about 8 rows up from the astros dugout. I had those tickets for months, they just sat on my shelf collecting dust. That was best game i've ever actually been to. I'll never forget it. Hampton throws the complete game and who could forget the Ausmus 3 run shot to open the game up to 5-1.

running on the field was definitely a unique experience. That'll probably never happen again.

    good times :D

Astros seem to be back on track. They are really looking good tonight. And "ESPN's Team" Chicago is losing. Bobby Valentine, looks like your prediction "the astros are through" was dead on

Hey, did anyone see this quote from Jeff Kent. I just stumbled on it

"It's no secret. I don't like you guys. You guys are in the past. Move on. Let's go. Get a grip."

    – 2B Jeff Kent greeting Giants beat reporters on Sept. 21, in the Contra Costa Times

I was typing a post saying where I saw that quote, and then he hit the homer, so then I typed it in.

So far the runs have come from the TOP and BOTTOM of our line up. Nothing really from the middle yet. Bags did have a hit earlier but no one else had one. And Kent has been quiet. Berkman has walked.

Redding finished for tonight. Lidge is coming out to pitch. Standing ovation for Tim.

    3-1 Astros.

Ha! Did you just see that....Jimy came out to the mound to take Redding out...and Redding sighed and reluctantly gave him the ball. He sure didn't look like he wanted to come out!
