    Cubs magic # is 1.

Even if they lose both games, I don't think the Astros could beat Ben Sheets if they couldn't manage to rock Obergusldaskfnfneler. (sp?!!! )

Well, the choking Astros are done for this year...

On the other hand, the basketball season is just around the corner. Let's go Rockets!

good question. if one is without clutchcity.net and say you had to rely on the houstonchronicle or local sports tv coverage one would have no idea the Rockets were going to be a team about to begin play in Houston this year. if there is a bright side about the astros losing its that now there will be at least some coverage of the Rockets during training camp. if the Stro's made it to the playoffs there would of been NO Rocket coverage.

btw, training camp starts this Monday.

Cubs are up 6-0 in the 2nd game.

Could these last two series have been any worse for the Astros?

Our team couldn't get it done when it mattered.

    Yea... finally back to reality.

Just wondering, for once, what it would feel like NOT to be anticipating October football, or the start of basketball season... wondering perhaps what it would be like to be truly following baseball well into October.

Well, Texans should have a good shot at winning this week... and the Rockets will get back to respectability with Van Gundy. He's really gonna kick some ass and take some names... maybe Jimy could learn a thing or two from him.

I know none of you want to hear this, but how sweet would it be to see a Red Sox and Cubs World Series?

I have a feeling that would produce the highest ratings ever for a World Series.

Too bad that it probably won't happen with the Evil Empire being around and the damn Braves, heh.

What's done is done. Let's try to end the season with a win.

I don't want to go out with a lopsided Brewers win.

I'd like to see us take out our frustrations on them this last game.

Whooo....Astros win! Split series with Brewers which equals end of season. See y'all next year. Wonder who will be left on this squad.

Pathetic you ****ing choke artists. We had it in the last week and THEY BLEW IT! Right when I was starting to really get behind them. Sad....I still can't accept the fact the Cubs won the division for once.
