ya we definitely have better rotations than the dodgers and nats... or indians for that matter. what team are you watching? unless you're talking about fantasy land where our best pitchers aren't consistently injured and our bullpen is the same bullpen from may.
If all our pitchers suck that badly, we're going to lose early in the playoffs anyway. Trading for an extra starter is pointless in that scenario.
On the flip side, Mike Fiers pitching above his career norm had them extending their overall lead. I don't think all those worst case scenarios will happen, but I also disagree that more pitching help is pointless.
Haha b haha bruh, you got me there bruh, I have no idea what I'm talking about... keuchel's 60 pitches and 5 runs in the 3rd SO FAR, is clearly enough on his own. How crazy of me to doubt this rotation... keep spittin sunshine and rainbows tho bruh, so dumb smh. Smh bruh.
So does hoarding prospects when we need help.. but yea good discussion when you have nothing to add except "**** gets old"
No? Plenty of ppl complain, pretty much the foundation of this forum. I'm disappointed in our lack of movement, our team has been struggling. Why don't you get over my opinion and come up with something better to add than "stop having different views than me"
What makes you think Crain will okay the budget increase? I really question that happening. We had to move Aoki's salary to take on Liriano's salary.
Goodness you guys are really following my every post... well its been a rough week. Must be hard seeing me repeat myself while appearing to be right so far... I bet Im the only one on this forum that does this.. mah bad
Then Crain should be called out by the local media. We looked past the cheap spending previously and chalked it up to re-building. But if he's vetoing deals now because of the money when we have a damn good shot, he needs to be killed for it. Especially when DET was willing to pay for Verlander's remaining 2017 salary. Beltran off the books next year helps absorb Verlander's contract -- and he will likely come off the books when it's time to pay our young stars.
