A lot of lefties do. Not many righties. Others say his velocity in the low 90s, which is much more common. Would like to see him promoted to CC.
Maxwell is really not that bad in comparison to JD Martinez, Grossman, and Krauss. He is better than any of them defensively and quicker. The issue is that he is 4+ years older than them. I don't doubt that Maxwell is a MLB-level player.
ON a bad team, yes. On a good team, he's a defensive sub/pinch hitter or still at AAA... which given his age, does not make me consider him a for-sure MLB level player.
