Lowrie, I thank you for the homerun to beat the Angels. Wish you didn't break your wrist, because you could tell at end of season that it happened.

Sad to see him go again, but not too much this time. I like him but the dude just can't be relied upon to have a healthy season.
Feel for Jed. Got to be disappointing. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Lowrie: "I'm disappointed to leave Houston. McCurry, who will turn 24 on January 7, was drafted in the 22nd round by the A's in 2014 from Oklahoma State. <script type="text/javascript" src="http://widgets.sports-reference.com/wg.fcgi?css=1&site=br&url=%2Fregister%2Fplayer.cgi%3Fid%3Dmccurr000bre&div=div_standard_pitching"></script>

Could be in the 'pen on Opening Day.
Seems like a good trade for us. Gets some salary off the books, and you get a high strikeout, young reliever.
Sorry to see Jed go. Seemed like a good guy and was always solid when healthy. Will be interested to see what the Astros do at 3B. Not sure Valbuena is the solution
