Was he injured? I mean he took the beginning of the season off with Texas just to make sure he was ready...and still injured? I really don't think he has anything left. He even showed signs of regression his last year in Philly, esp as towards the end of the season if I remember right. I feel like it's a very clear, steady decline that is easy to read, and we shouldn't try to excuse parts of it.
Paired together in the same trade... and Troy has been looking good and not so useless. Write it off as an old joke, but more so noting that former Astros (both of whom were in the early parts of their respective career's) are now joining the team to help out.
Not totally sure about at Texas. Last year was just strange. He basically went from the streets to starting for the Rockies, then was dinged up immediately.
Lmao, typical. Astros are like the go between from farm to mlb. We turn em out in their prime and bring em back when theres nothing left in the tank. Im tellin ya Dotel is next.
31 is sooooo washed up. I doubt a player has ever been successful past the age of 30 ever in sports. I would suggest trading for Machado, but Lord knows his better days are behind him. And yes... I know, but I can't help but feed it sometimes
Good signing actually, he has been solid last few years, not that it matters but at least its a decent arm out of the pen.
