@EvanDrellich: Source: $23 million over three years for Jed Lowrie, with a team option that could bring it to $28 million.
1. Altuve 2B 2. Fowler LF 3. Springer RF 4. Carter DH 5. Lowrie SS 6. Castro C 7. Singleton 1B 8. Marisnick CF 9. Dominguez 3B As it stands now. I expect more moves to be made, but I would not be upset with this lineup opening day.
I assume they were honest with him about his long term position and that it's likely only at ss for a season...at best If Correa does what he's capable of doing, Jed won't be at short for long.
Not buying it. Margo is a better SS and Lowrie will not be the worst starting 3B in the entire league.
He most likely gets 1.5 years as the full time starter at SS, before becoming the super utility guy behind Altuve, Correa, and Moran.

Awesome Lowrie surprised me when he was here and i didnt understand letting him go when we did... glad he is back should be able to rake in 20-25 homers
Margo is a better defensive SS than Lowrie. I am suggesting that Margo starts at SS and Lowrie starts at 3B and Dominguez sits.
If Jed can just give us a .750 OPS with enough defense this will be a good signing. This fulfills a big need for us.
