Is that what he had last year as well? I thought I remember reading he had an injury that impacted him in the 2nd half/end of the year.
he's been a marathon man for the better part of 3 seasons since he's broken out anything over 130 games a year is a win in your 30s those guys always push through in the playoffs
Part of the appeal of Christian Walker is that you can pencil him in the line up most games and he gives you elite defense at 1st with no frills or special requirements to show up at the park. He is 33 years old but has long taken care of himself and did not play a lot as a young player.
"It's something I don't want to see right now. I'm just hoping for the best." - Espada on Walker injury Should know more tomorrow. Yikes.
Do you think there is untapped upside or that he’s already peaked? Seems like if he’s firing on all cylinders he could be the 3rd or 4th best first baseman in the league behind Olson, Vlad, and Freeman
2022 was nice all around. But I remember the excitement when we first made it to 500 on a season. So I have a long, if fading, memory.
Are we ****ing getting paid back for all the years of winning with the constant god damn injuries? After the last couple of years, it felt like we were due for a more healthy year. I guess not.
Yep. I remember when my GGGGrandad introduced me to his friend Abraham Lincoln.... I'll never forget it.
