    Villone's last five starts:

    8/21 CHC 5.0 IP, 1 ER, gets the W in 9-3 win
    8/26 LA 6.0 IP, 3 ER, gets the W in 18-4 win
    8/31 SD 6.2 IP, 3 ER, takes the L in 3-1 loss
    9/6 @SD 2.0 IP, 4 ER, no decision in 11-4 win
    9/11 @MIL 6.0 IP, 3 ER, takes the L in 5-3 loss

One bad start in the last five. I certainly wouldn't say that he has 'suckd' lately.

At least now both teams are earning it. For a long time nobody wanted this division. Right now nobody can lose. It going to be quite a stretch run. Luckily Oswalt is breathing new life into us.

The Brewers are the patsy for everyone right now.

And if we win, who do we get, the Braves. Mercy.

Not necessarily.. The Marlins and Phillies have to play eachother 5 more times. The Stros could pass both of them and so could the Cubs. If we pass them and win the division, we are gonna play the Giants.

Anyhow, the Braves are very beatable this year. Their starting pitching isnt what it used to be.

it's good to see the bats waking up for the September stretch.

The most important factor though, Roy Oswalt. Thank god he opted not to have surgery

I saw this game and it was awesome...I missed two of Dalgy's HR's, but saw the others...Freakin' awesome...

I'm glad he's hitting his stride and he's worth every penny...

Go Stros'...We should sweep, but I'll take 2 of 3...

Someone needs to clarify this - does who plays who go only on record now, as before a division winner couldn't play the wildcard team from its own division - is that rule still in effect or not?

JayZ- That rule is still in effect. The division winner will not play the wild card team if they are in the same division.

well people, the Astros are in line for a big loss tonight. Colorado doesnt like to be embarassed at home and there is too much damn optimism. Not a good formula for success.
Also, Villone has been sucking it up last 3 starts.

    Colorado: 12
    Houston: 2

I was in Denver in July a couple years ago and it snowed on the fourth of July.
