Yup. If the complaint is "more ads!!" then these people are going to be universally disappointed by sports, because that's the way it always has been and will continue to be. The NBA is putting ads on people's uniforms soon. I agree it's silly, but it's nothing unique to any one team or league.
THIS! They did a great job of relocating those ads. I love it, doesn't obstruct the view...the arches....looks great (of course it'd look better with out them....but that's not happening). Can't wait! I'm moving to Houston area in 2.5 weeks. :grin:
Yeah, the apartments I signed up with require you to have cable......I thought it was a waste, but at least it is comcast and I can get my Stros and Rockets. By the time I get a house next year, hopefully it won't be just CSN on comcast.....
Did they move the left field lighting stanchions over to the right? Looks like it. I remember them being closer to the Crawford boxes before.
I sort of agree. I think the fake flag/pennants look so artificial and annoying. Would've been much more interesting to have actual flags flying on there. Still tacky (if you're going to portray flags vertically, that works best by showing division leaders, but whatever). As for the ads on the arches...would look tremendously better if they just "painted" them subtly onto the fake stone instead of what they currently have.
If you're referring to the light towers, they're in the same place they've always been. Maybe it's skewed on the above image due to the wide angle lens.
