Ya'll boys is wild! Man these stros are making me so happy right now. Now we have Oswalt pitching today and then an off day followed by Clemens opening up a homestand against the Pirates. They have a very real chance of making up another game today! Did anyone else notice how the 2-3-4-5 hitters accounted for all 8 of Tuesday nights RBI? Talk about a good trip through the heart of the order.

    Beltran 1 Hr, 1 Rbi
    Bagwell 1 Hr, 2 Rbi
    Berkman 1 Hr, 2 Rbi
    Kent 2 Hr, 3 Rbi

I see no reason why these guys cant carry this momentum for a couple more weeks. We have like 12 games agaisnt the Pirates and Reds.

Wow, they sure are making this time of the year enjoyable.

I gosta get on home soon if I want to catch today's game.

I sure am glad that this forum has come back to life (the Astros part). It was so dead for a couple of series, and then again....so were the Astros.

    GO STROS!

5 games ago we were 7 games out of the wild card...now we are only 3.....

Amazing...I hope they can keep it up.

    Should have fired Jimy sooner.

Make it 3-1. Chavez works a 0-2 count into a walk Roy O singles in a run and Biggio hits a SF to score one.

Are Everett and Miller both out for the year? Everett was on fire when he went down, we could really use him now that we're rolling

    Crap. Tie game, 3-3.

Doesn't sound like Roy is very sharp today at all.

Since I'm in Utah and at work, I'm obviously not watching this game, but does Roy O look as shakey as the score indicates? I wouldn't expect him to be giving up hits/runs this early and this often.

    Thanks. :)

I'm wondering the same thing. But it looks like he came back with a quick next inning, so maybe he just got a bit unlucky. I noticed the first run was unearned.

I'm in California and at work, but luckily if you have internet access you can watch it online at mlb.com for $2.95 while working :D .. I've been watching off and on though since I do actually have stuff to do, but its nice quality if you have the time to watch it.

Well worth it to me to make my day go by much faster :)

I'm not watching on tv, but on espn game cast...you should check it out.

Roy just had an easy inning, striking out the first 2 batters on six pitches. Hopefully he will settle down now. I'm just worried about his pitch count.

someone asked a while ago what was wrong with the Astros..the main reason, anyway. i said then, it was lack of production from the heart of the lineup. i think that is the most important factor in our turnaround. the 3-4-5 guys have been mashing like crazy. the re-emergence of jeff bagwell is huge.

Bags is just trying to make everybody drop the "retirement" talk by busting out in the last month of the season.

Doesn't look that shaky. Just one bad inning. Unless I'm mistaken, the run in the first should be unearned. Beltran bobled a hit that turned a single into a double and allowed the Reds to small ball the run home. Not dominant as he could be, but solid so far.
