Just when you give up on a game, this happens. Way to go Berkman.

I know it's just 4 at bats(3 official + walk), but I'm in love with the way Beltran hits. Very good eye at the plate and a sweet swing. Man oh man I wish we can get him beyond this year. Hopefully, Gerry will think of a way to extend him before he hits the market. Especially considering how big our CF is.

Blalock is not yet a future HOF though.... you don't start pitching around him, especially when you're in a tie game with Soriano on deck.

It wasn't that bad of a pitch... but Blalock was somehow able to pull it... and it carried well.

Berkman goes down looking.....that is not what an all star should do.

Then kent flies to right....great nearly 7 games back.

I am so going to go and break something!!!!!

THe Rangers got so many hits down the line for extra bases. We missed like 4 right on the line....geez. Just not fair. Berkman just hit it foul, and ofcourse watched strike 3....then kent with his one swing....hmmm pop up...who would have guessed....

And what's up with Kent swinging at the first pitch and poping out, to go two straight games with out a hit!

I love this team, but damn they really, REALLY suck right now.

Maybe they're just trying to do it like the Indians in Major League 2; they absolutely play like crap for a long time before making a run and going to the World Series.

So, how many games do we fall behind first in the standings does it take before we say making it all up is unrealistic. I'm getting to that point of saying that. Seven games back if St. Louis wins tonight and still falling in the standings as the Jekyll/Hyde Astros win one...lose two...or whatever the hell their spellbound about.

How many games does it take before reality hits and we throw in the towel?

Bagwell is hitting second today, we'll see how it works out. Kent out, Lamb is the DH and Everett drops to eighth.
