Yea... its a 3pm regional game, so if the local announcers are competent, they mix and match amongst them.

The Astros sure do have a way of disappointing at a time when there should be a lot of excitement. Beltran looks like the only player worth a damn on this team.

I will go out there and remove Harry Spilman myself, if I have to.

How many times did all the Astros hitters (besides Beltran and Berkman) try to pull the Rogers sinker or fastball on the outside corner?

How many ground balls to SS do you have to hit to realize that maybe you should change your approach and try to hit the other way with some of these balls...

Not taking anything away from Rogers... he was good tonight, but the Astros sure helped him out a little as well.

I feel sorry for Beltran ... I'm betting he wanted to go to a team that was a lock for the playoffs like the Yanks or Red Sox.

Instead he's gotta come to this team which makes the opposing pitcher look like a Cy-Young candidate virtually every night. This is getting pretty pathetic.

Well if he plays hard every night he will get his wish as well as $15 million per year for his troubles...

    Pathetic game offensively.

Beltran was out only life at the bat, he went 2-4 I believe.

Bags and Kent were a combined 0-4 today at the plate.

    DANMIT!

Well pitched game, lost again because of the lack of offense. It's just sad that the guy through a complete game against us.

At one point MIller was at 108 pitchs while the Ranger pitcher was only at 56.

Don't worry, soon Beltran will be infected by the Astros way of life and will become a loser too. Clemens and Pettite are already starting to get there. This team is cursed and destroying every good player it acquires.

I saw this on Fox and it sucked...Adam's error was just out of no where and the rest of the team just couldn't get a hit...

I'm looking forward to the next two games...

Carlos made a fielding error, but that's ok, it was his first game...

    Go Stros!!!

Yes, he did make an error but he also got 2 hits and scored our only run.

This offense needs to comeback together, this is pathetic. And Ensberg, didn't he have like 25 HR's last season?! What gives?!

    :(

EDIT: Well, it is only one loss but it sucks seeing our offense continuing to sputter. We have won a couple of series in a row IIRC. Let's go Astros!

I like the way Ensberg is hittin for a decent average and everything but I need my third baseman to hit for power.

ARRGH! Middle infielder at a corner again today! Is it any wonder we can't score?

Check out the breasts of the woman behind the right handed hitters' shoulders...makes the game worth watching.

(its on the side angle of the hitter)
