Well, regardless of the Astros record, and that rough month of June. (May was lots of fun). That series sweep felt awesome. Suck it Arlington. Not the worst team in the MLB / Texas at the time being...lol.
I said before the year started that the Stros and Rangers would be alot closer in the standings than most would have you believe but never thought we would actually have a better record. Great job Daniels, I bet Nolan is laughing so hard right now.
Rangers are flat out awful. With a huge payroll. And yes, I'm aware they have injuries. They jumped the shark with the Fielder trade. It's our Carlos Lee. When you start signing or trading for overweight guys who are on the wrong side of 30, it's the beginning of the end.
