Sorry I missed you guys. I made a last second decision to go to the game instead of heading up there for the games. I was pissed off at that decision after we didn't make it into the stadium until the 4th inning and after buying more tickets since the Astros' ticket office royally screwed up our afternoon. Bastards. Thanks for the good guys for making it worth it once we got in the building!
Hey thanks a lot. I won't actually be there tonight since it's my day off but im sure he will enjoy the crazy atmosphere of people watching the Astros game.
I'm gigging Saturday, but I could make it on Sunday. RM95, Buck Turgidson, and myself had an awesome time watching the game at Kay's Lounge last night. Working off the hangover as we speak....
I will finally get a chance to watch the Astros in an NLCS. To celebrate my wife and I are going to the newly opened BW3 in Beaumont. I am pumped because I have never eaten there before.
Ohh...BRO, you WILL be a convert--B-Dub's is ALWAYS a good choice and it's a franchise that is really taking off. The wings are EXCELLENT, service is fast and they have great drink specials. I've been to three different ones, but the one in The Woddlands is my home base, they know me by name! I met my buddy and his wife and some friends at the one by Willowbrook mall last night and it was freaking WILD. That place was soooo hyped-up you couldn't hear yourself yelling over the crowd. When Bag's hit the two run shot, it came UN-GLUED!! Plus, we were drinking $1.75 martinis Try the Carribean Jerk wings--verrrry tasty.
So has there been any type of concensus for Saturday?? I'm good for where ever. wouldabeen23, I have been hanging out at that BW3's a bit since being back in town. I have HS friends out there that I have hung out with. Last night I was at Fox and Hound right across the street. They have a pretty nice setup there as well.
lets Hook-it-up sometime, I live off Research and work in that area--drop a dime: wouldabeen23@hotmail.com
Young enough not to remember the '80 series and old enough to remember that I didn't actually see any of the '86 games but listen to a few of them on the radio I smuggled into my 7th grade science class.
I remember 86 was my sophmore year in HS and we watched part of game 6 game before football practice and after we watched the rest of after, on coaches tv.
I remember 86 because I had just moved to Los Angeles. After the Stros lost game 6, I left work early and went to a bar on Sunset Blvd. Three hours and 12 shots of Jack Daniels later, I was arrested for public intoxication.
Nope. It's something I'd rather not remember, but perhaps Chance would like to whip up a little ditty with it!
