Sorry, this was supposed to be my response to the Ambriz callup. Just thinking of Ambriz makes my brain fart

I'm excited to see Villar, but I'm worried that he's not ready. If he can play solid defense and hit .220 with any pop or OBP skills, I'll be thrilled though. That would be an upgrade over anything we're currently getting.
He's got 31 steals for the year so far as well. I think someone earlier compared him to Julio Lugo which I feel is a better comparison.
They just gotta make the corresponding moves to get him on the 40 man roster. Likely waiting till the trade deadline.
Yea he is a lot better athlete than AE I have no idea how Villar will do, but I am very glad to see him here. If nothing else, if he comes up and shows he is a major league level SS, maybe on the level of a Lugo . . .he would have nice trade value with guys like Correa and Fontana following him up the ladder
Not saying we would look to trade him now obviously But, if he shows to be a Julio Lugo quality major league shortstop, when Correa is ready he could be a nice piece to move, that was my only point Trust me, i'm not on the "trade the prospects" train
