I think he has had 2 nice seasons at AAA.

I think one at .297 and this one at .325, If I am not mistaken.

they said that Jason Alfaro had a ranking of "8" on his arm. He must have some serious arm strength.

The Padres also lost. Man, these Rockies are really having a good time playing spoiler. We run into them the last series of the season at MMP. Hopefully nothing happens to us like it did last year against the Brewers. Lets not look back Astros and take this race!

what do they do on double header days.. make sure everyone from first game gets out of stadium between the games.. ?

seems like you'd have people trying to hang around and watch 2nd game for free

On double headers like last nights, one ticket gets you in for both games. Occasionally teams play day-night DHs (e.g 1:00 start time and 7:30 start time for game 2) and you need a ticket for each game.

Yeah. Yesterday, during the first game, they showed this teenager Astros fan in the stands...big bushy afro with a red Astros' hat. In the 9th inning of the 2nd game, they showed him catching a foul ball!

The NY double header, afternoon at Shea, evening at Yankee Stadium was pretty cool.

Marlins are up 2-0 in the 3rd. I gues swhat really need is for fish and the Cubs to beat each other up and split these games. If they are splitting them then no one is gaining ground.

Yeah. I think we're a little better off with the Marlins winning, if one team was gonna sweep.

5-0 in the 6th now. But you have to like the Cubs chances in game 2. Prior vs. a guy from A ball. Saturday and sunday should be 2 pretty good matchups.

Didn't Prior hurt himself again in his last start? I wonder if that problem of his will affect his pitching/reliability?

Yeah I think we really need the Marlins to win ... These are the toughest games for the Cubs that they have left and they are 2 up in the loss column. I think the Marlins have a little tougher schedule with alot of games against Philly (who has the potential for some good games) and Atlanta.
