I think it's in the third pixel from the left, fourth up from the bottom within the little white dot that signifies Pittsburgh.
Well, if Redding gets shelled and it costs us are winning streak, then Garner is an idiot for starting him. I don't care who else he starts but Redding is the biggest risk around in my book. To bad Weathers isn't still on the team as he could have brought him in to relieve Redding. After Redding's God awful year, I don't know what Garner is thinking? Are we really that short on starting pitching that we have to start an almost full-time loser? If he gives up anything less than 5 runs and gives us 5 innings in the process, then it will be a miracle.
Of course, if it was Redding/Duckworth, that would have been a 4 run inning. As it is, he gets out of the jam w/ just the 1 run scored.
Man Perez looks good today Let's just hope Carlos can hold the Pirates down long enough to where we can strike back and steal the game late without burning our entire bullpen. I was nervous going into todays games and i'm not feeling comfortable after the first inning and a half.
These are the trades of the past year 1/3 aint bad I guess.... Billy Wagner for Brandon Duckwort, bust Richard Hidalgo for David Weathers, bust Losing Octavio Dotel for Carlos Beltran in a three way deal, priceless.
Tim Redding Tim Redding, He's our man, if David Weathers can't do it, Tim Redding sure as hell can't. Sorry, I am bored, and nervous about how this game looks.
Carlos' pitch count is already getting up there ... We can't afford that in the first game of a double-header to start out a 5 game series.
Uhh... considering that we got a.) Ezequiel Astacio (who just broke the Round Rock record for most K's in a season), and Taylor Buckholz (who struggled early, but managed to improve as the season went on and is still young enough to become very good.... b.) we got rid of his riduculous $12 million contract.... c.) the fact that Wagner hasn't even pitched for most of the season because of shoulder trouble that probably lingered since spring training (ie, he most likely would have had the same injury here)... and I don't consider this trade a bust at all. If anything, its even right now (just in terms of the $$$ saved, and the fact that it did NOT get the Phillies to the world series, let alone the playoffs), and can only become advantage Astros if either of the two young studs pans out.
Maybe because he gives up a lot of homeruns and can give up many runs in no time at all... I feel the same way.
