Pettitte had a swollen foot, but is not expected to miss his next start. Good news. Ensberg is day to day.

According to Garner, they both are fine. That's important.

lidge should throw a "mr.snappy" on the side

the opposing hitters would never see it coming.

LOL @ Ensberg being interviewed with a Cast/Arm Jacket, bandaid on the face and a bandage around his head with the blood from a hemorage on it. And he was eating pizza.

Even when Willy makes great catches, they look awkward. Beltran made it look so smooth.

    Pitches-strikes: Oswalt 22-20, Lieber 45-29.

That is true. Like that leaping catch of his at MMP the other night, it was a fantastic catch...best of the year for him. BUT, it wasn't very smooth.

The Phillies 2-strike hitting approach is terrible.....no wonder the Astros have owned them. When you're free-swinging no matter what the count or the situation, you're in trouble against our pitching. We feast on hitters swinging at 2-strike crap because all of the Big 3 have put-away pitches that are out of the zone: Roger's splitter, Andy's cutter and Roy's curveball.

And thus, they've now started swinging at the first or second pitches... and they're doing pretty good.

So far, this game is basically a carbon copy of the one these two played in Houston when it was Oswalt vs. Lieber.... so far.
