That was PATHETIC! Granted we were robbed of a run by the Ump....but still.

to leave the bases loaded more than once like that. :( for shame stros....for shame.

nice complete game by Roger, he seemed to believe the stros would eventually give him some run support.

The best pick up when can make is adding Bagwell, I hope he get back quick. We need sticks.

I probably have a different view than most of you here after watching that game last night...but here's what I think:

Roger pitched awesome last night...but Peavy pitched better. And Roger, along with the Astros, got beat. Peavy looked fantastic to me. Switch pitchers last night...let Clemens pitch for the Pads and Peavy for the 'stros...and the Astros would have won that game. Peavy is going to be very good for many years to come.

Oh come on, Max. You don't think our impotent bats had anything to do with making Peavy look good?

i won't say they had nothing to do with it. but he looked sharp. it's often hard to tell if a team is just worthless at the plate or if the pitcher is rocking on any given night. watching last night, i thought peavy looked very good.

I don't think you are giving Peavy enough credit. This guy is in tier number 2 for pitchers, and tier number 1 is Roger all by himself. Any of the guys in that class of pitching can shut any team out. Granted the Astros weak bats don't help, but don't kid yourself ... we got beat last night and our it wasn't just our bats that made Peavy look good ... he did what he's been doing for most of the season.

I can stand this loss a lot more than the game we lost to the Pirates 1-0 that Clemens pitched.

I'll be at the game tonight once again so I sure hope Astacio brings his A game. It sucks walking out of the stadium with all your Stros gear on after a loss.

It's not like Peavy's a scrub. He did lead the league in ERA last year.

I'm sure Larry Bigbie would've been the difference last night, however.

Well, I'm just happy none of the other WC teams gained any ground last night with our loss.

The Stros have been playing .500 ball as of late, and I think that is enough to stay near the top, but I have a gut feeling that the Marlins are going to make a run to try and take the WC. (I know...obvious)

Anyways, lets go Stros! Come on Zeke!......or better yet....COME ON BATS!

Man, they were showing the Marlins-Brewers game on ESPN, and Florida has had tons of fielding/throwing errors. I thought they were known for their defense. (Although i know their pitching is good). O well, all better for the Stros.

HAHAHA nice throw Park! EVERYONE IS SAFE! :D :D

Lane didn't give it his all when running down the line. He was almost out. I don't like to see our guys not give their all.
