3 out of 4 in Washington and come home so we can spank the weak ass Phillies and Mets.

    Game on.

That ballpark looks empty, I thought they were drawing big crowds in DC?

Ugh... that was a weak AB. Hitting what, .221 with the bases loaded. Sounds about right. Then Berkman fouls out. Ack!

Can't do anything in the last inning w/ the bases loaded and nobody out.... but Lamb takes it into his own hands this inning with a solo BLAST.

Man... this ballpark plays great for pitchers. That blast would have been in the upper deck (or off the scoreboard) at MMP, but it just cleared the wall at RFK. Its a combination of deep power alleys and the ball just not carrying at all in that air.

who is our 3rd base coach?

He seems to make some terrible judgement calls when sending runners home

I think they all forgot that Wilkerson is also an OF. Frankly, I thought it was deep enough (especially with him having to set and turn before he threw), but credit him with making a perfect throw. Most normal first-baseman wouldn't make that play.

I like what Roy is doing tonight... he's not wasting any time trying to nibble corners, he's just going right after them and letting his fielders do the work for him.

This has been a good game so far today.

    Nice bomb by Lamb.

Nice hustle by Biggio to get that double, any other player would of had a single.

The Nats showed why they're tough at home.....outstanding job by Roy O...he's pitching as well as anyone in baseball (except for maybe Roger).

Talk about the law of averages catching up with a team. Washington is taking it on the chin with one run losses recently after getting lots of publicity for their success in such games the first half of the season. But hey, I'll take 3 more one-run wins in this series for the 'stros if that's offered to me. :D

Actually he has done a great job so far this season. He has done about the best job in the majors so far. So I am not sure what you are talking about.

That Bidge tag from 3rd was more of Craig call IMHO. I believe Craig thought he could make it - Craig has earned that benefit of doubt because he is a stellar base runner.

It sure is, and that's what it's all about. I love how these guys have come together after the rough start and become a great team.

Good: Oswalt helps the cause and gets an RBI. :)
Bad: Fellow Mexican Loaiza loses. :(
