not going to panic yet but what has happened to chris carter. I'd rather give some time to marwin at first for a couple of games til carter gets right.

I'm just going by what the Tribe guys are saying. They've been PHing for him against LH relievers all year. I suspect they left him in to keep Neshek out of the game.

With Springer out, we can't really tolerate slumps. Correa went 0-12, Carter is in one of his dead zones, and Castro is in a 4-35 stretch, and Rasmus is 3-17 with 9 K's since returning. Just gotta hang with it right now.

Yeah, outside of that mini 2 game sweep of Colorado, the Astros haven't won a road series since April.

When you see a post being ignored, and you think to yourself "I don't remember that name, why am I ignoring him"

You check the post, and immediately realize why somebody is being ignored. At this point, I should learn to trust my judgement.

That's pretty much along the lines of your usual stuff in this section of the BBS.

Yep, they're scuffling, Angels are hot, this was to be expected. Lots of baseball left.

    Wow, damn... didn't realize.
Total games (home vs road) will even out before the All-Star break, maybe we can begin to turn the tables record-wise before the 2nd half.

Sucks to waste a solid outing from Straily, but the sky isn't falling. The bullpen will break out of their funk and Lowrie's return is imminent (I think).

Stros are 2-4 since Springer went down.

Exactly... nobody knows how his hand will respond... he may just be another liability in the lineup.

And now he has 4 hits including a 2B & 3B in 13 PAs against them this year with only 2Ks.

If Brantley walk was indeed intentionally unintenional walk, that is a move I don't understand. He's not hitting like he did last year.

Is it true that the recent road slump is to send the non Astro board regulars back to the GARM?

    :)
