YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Great move by the Stros putting it on Roy and making it his call, can't blame the organization now unless they screwed the pooch on the prospects.

Sad day. A good day in terms of our future looking better...but still sad to see Roy go.

caught him a couple times this year. His stuff is not what it use to be. He does have control problems but could still be a effective pitcher. Will defiantly help the philies or any other team. Is he the all time winningest pitcher in astros history yet? I remember he had get one more win to tie or something.

He is one win shy of tying Niekro for the #1 spot, hopefully he won't get that chance. He is going to be a great #3 starter for the Phillies and if Hamels comes back to form they will be the favorites if they make the playoffs.

Whoa, I wonder who the prospects are? I assume Happ and hope it's at least one of either Singleton or Cosart.

Wilton Lopez is now the Astros ace.

If we can move Lee to first base and make a run for Carl Crawford next year we'll have a damn nice squad.

If we add Happ and Lyles or Arguello make it out of ST then the rotation isn't too bad. Pick up Myers option @ $8million we might be in the wild card hunt.

I remain optimistic...good days are ahead.

It better not freaking be Happ. Hopefully it's Brown and two single A guys.

You're dreaming on D. Brown. Just called up while Victorino is out. Happ is likely assured to be in the deal. Matter of what else and who else comes back.

After tonight, NO WAY IN HELL the Phillies trade Brown. I say its 4 players and Happ will be one of them but the prize hopefully will be Singleton. If we get Singleton and another of their power arms along with Happ and I'll be good with the move. No Singleton and I will have to see what else comes along.

Trading your most valuable trade asset for Happ is a waste of our time. Classic buy high rip off. This guy is a third starter at best on a mediocre club and he turns 28 years old this year.

There goes one of the greatest pitchers in Astros history, sad day but it was time. Now we need to cut Berkman or re-do his contract next year and trade Myers

Ken_Rosenthal FOX 26 in Houston reporting #Astros and #Phillies have deal in place for Oswalt. Trying to confirm. His approval would be required

Got to love it when Berman scoops the national media after they have been all over it from the beginning.
