I blame Bloss injury directly on Espada. Shouldn't have brought him back after throwing 38 pitches in an inning. That's malpractice for a young pitcher making his 1st start. Luckily there wasn't any bad damage done to his career. Next up Blubaugh.

Espada is a big dummy that just apparently wants to grind pitchers arms into dust. I thought Dusty Baker had shitty pitching usage- Espada basically is the king of hold my beer so far this year.

If you go back and watch that game he grabbed his shoulder early either in the 1st or 2nd inning. He was trying to battle through it. I was surprised the Astros didn't catch it when he first grimaced and grabbed his shoulder.

It was the second inning shame on the Pitching Coach Josh Miller and Joe Espada and the Trainer Jeremiah Randall not saying anything to Joe Espada. All 3 are at Fault Equally.

Jake Bloss was massaging his arm in the 2nd inning , Joe Espada should've confronted Jake Bloss ask him "Why are you rubbing your arm"?and pulled him in the 2nd, Jake not saying anything and throwing all those pitches in the 3rd inning, Joe Espada not warming up a pitcher and not pulling Jake Bloss.
