Does anyone else find this endless pimping of Everet for All-Star tiresome?

Biggio hit a homerun to make up for his debacle last night.

Hopefully, we can hang on for the 1-0 win. LOL.

I think he's going to need to hit a couple more homeruns in this game to make up for that play last night.

Yeah, screw Biggio and the fact he leads all leadoff men in hits, doubles, HRs, RBI, OPS, (2nd in runs). Screw him and his more than reasonable 3 million/year. Screw the fact that he has changed positions without complaining. Screw the fact that he made his 3rd position switch in the middle of the year with little to no preparation. He is certainly all that is wrong with this team.

no, Jack Wilson is gonna get selected by the manager so its down to Renteria and Everett for that other short stop spot. You can make an argument Everett has been the 2nd best shortstop in the NL. I'd love to see the guy playing in front of the hometown fans.

1st and 2nd, nobody out, and no runs. The astros are horrible with runners in scoring position.

Whoa slow down there bobrek, seriously - I can still be a little angry at ole' Biggio for that error last night. The screw this and that has nothing to do with what I said in my post. I just want some more homeruns to chase down that error from last night.

Nice inning by Clemens. Sosa is way overmatched right now.... maybe his real age is around 43.

Sorry, just venting at all those folks who seemingly blame Biggio for everything wrong with this team.

Everything with this team seems to be at a boiling point of frustration - for fans, players and management. That sentence sucked but you get my drift.

Come on Bags, 2 on 2 out..

This is why Bagwell has to bat 2nd if he stays in the line-up. He just doesn't drive in runs anymore. There are a lot of times when the pitcher is just wild and you have to walk. But Bagwell gets good pitches, but swings through them.

Vizcaino is now 0-18 with two outs and runners in scoring position. Some guy on their team named Lamb is 6-20 with 10 RsBI. At least I think he is on the team. I rarely see him batting in late inning situations in close games even though he has the highest average on the team.

Vizcaino is so frustrating. He's a decent fielder all around the infield, I get that. But the guy hits for zero power, doesn't walk, and doesn't have speed, and doesn't even get freaking base hits.

    What's the word on Kent?

It's sad to see Bagwell like this. Like Hakeem at the end of his career.
