Very very bad loss. If the Stros don't win 5/6 of the remaining Cub games, they don't deserve to make the playoffs. The 8th inning fiasco was inexcusable and shows me this team probably won't do well if we make it because those clutch situations will come up more. We could end up backing in because neither the Phils nor the Marlins want it either. But the Phils scare me.

At least it's just the Stros. I'd be really mad if this was the Rockets choking away a late season game against a bad team.

Disappointing loss today, albeit not too surprising. Considering the Cubs always seem play us tough and how flat we were early in the game (errors, bad AB's, mental mistakes, etc.), it was just too deep of a hole to come back from. I'm sure alot of the players were up til the early morning hours making sure they're family is OK. If we can get our players a little more rested and focused tomorrow, we'll be fine.....plus Zeke needs to have his best start of the year.

Let's just hope Aaron Harang is on tonight and the Reds can help us out.

Seal will do just fine. I like him starting better than Wandy, anyway.

I had a feeling Viz was going to blow it. Him and Chavez just haven't been doing their job well this season.

Can you believe the Phillies just blew a 6-1 lead to the Reds and now trail 8-6? They don't deserve the Wild Card any more than us if they don't sweep the Reds.

Actually the Reds current pitcher just gave up 2 HR's in the top of the 9th. One a 3-Run, one a 2-Run. It's now 11-10 Phillies.

Good to see Weathers is still finding ways to screw us over.

Freaking David Weathers deciding it's a great time to give up a 5 spot in the 9th after going in with a 4 run lead. Let's hope the Reds offense can pull something off.
