Well... we don't deserve to win those games where we can't converte in these situations. (ps - Willy T is not a good hitter).

    Damn!

I didn't like the Everett sacrifice earlier in the inning. We should have tried to let him tie the game with 0 outs.

For whatever reason, I have absolutely no faith in Taveras or Viscaino when they're responsible for the win.

Willy T is quite an enigma. He's fun to watch, but I can't honestly say he makes the team better... we know his adventures in the OF, and he can't drive in a run to save his life.

Thus, the only thing he really does well is lay the bunt down for a base hit, or pinch-run. Thus, he's a Dave Roberts... with less pop and worse defense.

I would hope Gar would consider putting Bruntlett as the everyday CF sooner rather than later. We win despite Willy T, rarely because of him.

no kidding nick. I agree 100%. Bruntlett deserves to be our starting CF, not Willy.

Is it beyond anyone else why Garner sacraficed Burke to 2nd and gave them a free out?

Yeah, you're right Don Grahamleone, now he should turn around and hit a go ahead 3 run homerun in the 9th.

That was the key in the inning. That allowed them to pitch around Bagwell and set up the force at home, which paid off in Viz's at-bat.

I'm really upset about that bunt.

Plus, why Viz instead of Lamb?
