I know, I know... its a very important game, and it would benefit the team immensly if they won, but the term "must win" game gets thrown out so many times that the term has lost its true meaning. For instance, after the Astros won yesterday afternoon, Philadelphia was essentially playing in a "must win" game... and they lost. Does that mean they're done? No... cause a win the very next day can put them in the same position as before.
CHA CHING! I knew it was going to happen. No way in hell a guy pitching this poorly will continue to look so good.
Every game from now on is a "must game" if looking from another perspective. Can't believe we are arguing on semantics when the Stros are in the midst of a good game. Go Stros!
Wheeler has been a little iffy lately... damn, there's the leadoff single given up by Qualls (but at least it wasn't a HR by Lee.... I'll take that).
Here comes our lefty not-specialist to [potentially] against Burnitz who is on an 0 for 12 streak at the plate. What gives?
Thank you Garner....Thank you Gallo. Thank you Stros hitter for only scoring 2 runs for Andy this game.
Look at the bright side... Garner will no longer have the "need" to bring in Gallo just to face every lefty out there in situations where the previous pitcher (Qualls) is just as qualified (if not more so). Frankly, Qualls is our lefty specialist till proven otherwise.
Be careful... there are many people here that truly believe that Gallo is a special pitcher. I think they're the same members of the Russ Springer fan coub as well, so try not to say anything bad about him either.
My point exactly. Garner had a brain firt there. Well Lance and Morgan will get it back in the top of the 8. Too bad this hurts Andy CY Young chase some.
