[Astros.com] Timmy wants to add "high-impact hitter"

    Not to be/sound argumentative...but how would you know that Hirsh is any better than that at the major league level? I mean, he gave his opinion on a guy who has never been in a major league rotation...maybe he is wrong...maybe he is right. I dont think he lost credibility.

    I don't *know*, the Astros don't *know*. There's no guarantees. But pitching translates, and the Astros *think* he has top-of-the-rotation stuff, based on actually knowing & working with the kid.

    I'm willing to bet a whole lot of money that Keith Law hasn't seen Hirsh pitch more than a couple of innings in exhibition (Future's, AAA All-Star) games.
