But there will be exceptions. Biggio considers three ballparks sentimental favorites and will likely play the first and last games in those stadiums.

Busch Stadium in St. Louis and Wrigley Field in Chicago are especially dear to Biggio, who has played in more than 100 games in each, more than any other ballpark he's visited in his career. And Shea Stadium in New York isn't far from the Long Island home where he grew up, so that ballpark holds sentimental value, as well.

The Astros will be in Chicago Aug. 31-Sept. 2, New York Sept. 7-9 and St. Louis Sept. 20-24. Biggio can expect to get two starts in each of those series.

Bidge was a huge part of my childhood life and I will always remember him for all that he did for the Astros and the City of Houston.

Hopefully he will be able to be involved with the organization and city for a long long time.

Footer scooped the Associated Press, ESPN, the Chronicle and every other news organization in the world on this story. But yeah, one minor technicality (it's still Busch, still on the same grounds) and it's horrible. Hilarious.

I've asked you numerous times... put up or shut up. Examples of this "horrible writing" now. Not baseless generalizations that come off sounding like a personal grudge as opposed to a real complaint, because that's how it's looked before.

All I can say is...

Thank you, Craig Biggio. It was a great 20 years watching you play the way the game should be played.

I don't think it will really hit me until next Feb. when there is no #7 in spring training. I've already discussed with my wife that I will be taking my son to Cooperstown in 5 years.

Dude. Go back and look at my old posts regarding her. I have provided examples of her pure speculation that is made out to look like news. Either go back and look at what i've posted, or failing that, read just about any of her writings (past or present).

I agree, it was really tough not seeing Baggy out there, now I will really miss Bidge, alot of us grew up with those guys as our heros! I too will go to Cooperstown if they both go in same year, mark my word!
