I'm predicting they will go 0-10 before they get that first win. It's going to be a long dismal season - no, make that long dismal next two years but that's the price you pay for being baseball stupid.

SO Cecil Cooper wasn't the cause of them stinking last year, eh? Brad will probably get his chance to be the official scapegoat in another two years.

Well, I think there's space for one win in Chicago. Knowing the Cubs, they are quite resourceful in methods to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...

But I guess we'll have to sit through yet another pounding...

Jesus this is pathetic, our pitching isn't even the bad part.

This offense is just flat out horrific.

Berkman should make a nice impact, but not enough.

I knew we would be bad, but this is just atrocious.

did I just hear the "classiest fans in baseball" cheer when Bourn went down? all i have is audio, so perhaps (hopefully) it was something else...

I think we have the worst offense for salary in baseball.

Yeah, I know Berkman is coming back but dont think he will be close to enough.

Bourn probably makes that play on most days.

When you're feeling down, it's hard to find that extra gear and put forth that extra effort.

Whats the Astros 2010 slogan? Seriously. I havent seen one billboard saying anything. Every team has a slogan no matter how bad they are.

My feeling exactly. With the Rockets out of the playoffs and the Astros so bad this is going to a very long summer.

I just looked at the averages for the season.

Most of our team has what I expected except Lee and Pence who were supposed to be reliable have royaly sucked.

Can't win when the heart of your line-up can't hit for ****.

I have the game on mute in the background but my guess would be that they were cheering the hit and not Bourn hitting the ground.

I'm not trying to say that they are saints as they are always portrayed but my guess is that they were largely cheering for the hit and the run.

They didnt have a slogan for this season? Wow. "Gonna be one long summer" That would be a nice billboard to put on I-45 with pictures of Wade, Mills, and Drayton on it.

    0-7

If we score a TD, it'll be a tie game.
