hmmm...1 pitch...1 out. seems about right for the Astros. nice start. love my sling box...watching online on campus in a lab.
I actually liked that. He got caught, but whoever gets on base needs to be aggressive and try to steal at every opportunity. It's not like the upcoming 0.100 hitters were going to string together multiple hits to get Pence around the bases.
Agree. Got to be aggressive with the crap at the bottom of the order. I also like that Pence's hit went to right. Means he was being more patient.

pretty much spot-on, i say. there's really nothing left to argue about. everybody has accepted that we are garbage, and everybody is in agreement that we need to trade everybody we can. not that they would trade him anyway, and it feels a little saying this right now since he's the only player playing well, but if we only keep one player, i'd keep bourn. no reason not to believe that he's not going to still be fast and good in 3 years, when you'd hope we are back to being competitive by. and he should still be relatively cheap.
Worst part is, that means more pitches for Bud. He may only go 5 with the amount of pitches he has thrown already. Edit: And now a run scores. At least he's got that great OPS of .206.
