Why do we continue to challenge Sanders with high fastballs? That's the ONLY pitch he can actually hit with any sort of authority.

 

That was all AUSMUS...he swung at the first 2 sliders, and then never got to throw one again......that was simply PATHETIC pitch calling by Brad.

How do you know Strickland didn't shake him off? Also, I'm pretty sure Brad wanted that pitch down... Strickland is just not that good.

 

Because I watched the sign Brad gave and then Strickland threw the ball....he called for a fastball...the ole numero uno.

Yeah, I just watched the replay with DVR and Brad called the fastball in and Strickland hit exactly here Ausmus had the glove. Strickland didn't shake off a slider either.
