There are 60 games left in the season, and we all know the cubs will choke, if they dont make any moves today, then give up

It is so tempting to fight through this and continue on but if we can pick up good to great young talent even if only 1 or 2 guys that can make a huge difference. I agree Stros can go three ways...

Make a move for a SP then we know there going to try and stay in it.

Trade Val and Tejada we know they are rebuilding and its time to check out young talent.

Do nothing which means they will just go for the salary dump in the offseason and cut payroll...EWWW

mlbtraderumorsRT @JoeFrisaro #mlbtrades Marlins are looking to make a deal today. Realistically, it is 50/50 that something gets done.

Please Please call the Marlins and see whats up for Val...It fits perfectly!

    Val For Andrew Miller!

I wish 3 o'clock would hurry up and come.....I just hope Drayton realizes that he needs to do whatever it takes to get a SP who can help now, and in the long term....Maybe Scott Kazmir?

I wanna say it would take less to aquire Kazmir considering hes having a not so good year, but they probably still want a lot.

he hasn't improved in 3 years. I think teams just know how to get to him. He's not in the strike zone enough...or when he is, he's too much in the zone and gets pounded.

Plus he can't work deep in games with his big pitch counts that he racks up even when he's going relatively well..

Pretty much the difference between Randy Wolf and Hampton. So yeah, its very disappointing. As it turns out we probably would have been a lot better off without Backe & Ortiz($2.3 Million), Hampton ($2 million), & Brocail($2.5 million). There's enough to pay Randy Wolf...

I guess there is no crying about the past.

I knew we were gonna stand pat. Not surprising and not just because Ed Wade said we were but because we usually never buy or sell. If so, its something minor. So now, Astros fans, including myself, have fun watching the ehh 60 games is it? of Tejada and Valverde before theyre gone.
