They surely aint headed to the playoffs every season and theyre not winning rings, but you're right. They accept mediocre. As long as Roy got his tractor and is gettin paid and Berkman is still in the city, theyre both probably livin' it! We've (media,fans,etc) have had talks previous years at or near the trade deadline, is Roy O gonna get traded? Would he wave his no trade clause to go to a contending team. Chances are, yes he would. Problem is, Drayton will never let them leave. Its a good bet both retire Astros, which is good in a way. They both retire with the hometown team. Problem is, theyll never have a ring as long as theyre with the Astros. Theyve been here how many years now(?) and they keep trying to put a product around Berkman and Roy. Its not happening. No results. But as long as theyre happy here, so be it.
