    HAHAHAHAHAHA!

    Nice play Taveras! WHOOP!

It's bad that I am kind of relieved it's not a 1-0 loss.

The NFL should bump up the start of the regular season this year because I can't take too much of watching the Astros everynight.

This team has gone beyond unwatchable -- they're now un-check-the-box-score-able.

It's like every time I go to check the score on the Internet around the 5th inning it's the exact same thing -- Stros down 1-0 or 2-0, we have less than 3 hits, and our starting pitcher has lowered his ERA below 3.30 but is in line to get the loss.

I feel bad for Roy, Rocket, Andy, and Backe -- they're having great years. (OK, Backe's not having a great year yet, but that last outing might have been the start of a nice run for him.)

I know he got a lot of flack last year, and throughout the early part of this year... but Ensberg is looking more and more like a legit power threat with each time he makes contact.

He still strikes out looking far too much... but its nice to see that its quite possible that last year (rather than 2003) could have been the fluke year for Morgan.

A 4-0 lead in the 1st inning for the Astros. Ensberg with a 3 run dinger. Is anyone getting this game? It must be a sight for sore eyes.

With Biggio out with a "hip" problem... these are opportunities that I'd rather see Burke playing.

If they're keeping him down at AAA (where his numbers are spectacular so far) in order to increase his trade value, fine... but if they seriously still consider him part of the future of this team, there should be no reason for him to not be up here.

sorry I couldn't get to a computer sooner, but that "catch" by Taveras in the 8th of game 1 of this series was hilarious. It hits his glove and THEN he dives for it. He was probably thinking "all right, I'm gonna be on Sportscenter tonight" as it was flying towards him...:D

You really are a true fan (and you put most of the whiners in Houston to shame).... you're locked outside of your place, yet all you care about is how the Astros are doing.

My hat is off to you, Up.... that is awesome.

Wandy in trouble here.... a total bloop by Genkins (his second bloop of the night), a soft fly ball that finds a spot by Lee, and now a slow ground ball in just the right spot between 1st and 2nd by Overbay.

Nothing hit hard... bases loaded... nobody out... get ready.

EDIT: Another seeing-eye single that finds its way between 3rd and SS.... luck is definitely NOT w/ Wandy this inning.

EDIT (again): The hardest hit ball of the inning is right to Ensberg.... 1 out. This game is indeed silly.

EDIT (final): Wandy gets out with an amazing DP turned by the defense.

That was a fun inning... first real one I've watched in awhile. I like Wandy, and his resilience.

:D Thanks man. I'm sitting here watching some ebaum animations and cookie dough record animations. While watching the MLB Game Day Flash.

I don't wanna leave and check to see if the landlord unlocked my door yet, because I won't be able to get back into the Entertainment Building here at the apartments because they lock it after 6. I'll wait another 45 min or so before I check.

Well, our team is doing it again. ONly 2 hits for the stros through 5.

Thank goodness for the Ensberg bomb. Palmiero seems to have a good eye at the plate, with his 2 walks so far tonight. Atleast Sheets is out of the game now. Maybe we can get some more runs since it's now a 1 run game.

    4-3 stros.

What makes you think the whiners don't care about how the Astros are doing? They whine because they do care. It may be annoying but a fan is a fan.

WHOOOP! Viz double, intentional walk to Berkman, and now DOUBLE by Lamb! HAAHAHAHAHA!

Lamb blew that right back in the Brew's face! Pitch around to get to me. What now?!

    6-3 good guys....

One thing that's wierd is that Game Day live shows the location where the ball went from Lamb's hit as OUT of the ball park, aka...HR. WTH?!

Nick you watching the game? Was it a long fly ball double?

I am dreaming, Everett with a home run and Astros score 9 runs on the road.

That is pretty crazy. Maybe Adam hits better when we have the lead?
