astros should get hammonds instead of hunter...hes unemployed, he could be a power hitter but hes slumping badly so he got released.

The final play of the bottom of the 8th. Bases were loaded, grounder was hit up the middle...it was a ball that Lugo MIGHT have gotten his glove on, and Blum couldn't have touched, and Adam hauls ass laterally and gets it several yards behind 2nd base, changes direction on a dime, sprints to 2nd base and steps on it JUST before the runner gets there. He had to hop over the runner real quick, which looked pretty athletic as well. His range is so unbelievable.

PS. I would never bat Ausmus in that situation. For the love of god put ANYONE else out there.

It is incredible how Williams will start Blum over a hot hitting Ensberg, yet not pinch hit him for a .200 hitting Ausmus. Where is the sense in that?

As I have been saying all week, Hunter has got to go. His mental mistake cost the Astros a run in the 4th.

Well, if it hasn't been posted yet, some of tonight's game will supposedly be in the new Bernie Mac movie, Mr. 3000.

I remember reading about it about 6 months ago and forgot that they would be filming actual game footage of the Astros game.

Also, fans were asked to stay after the game as extras (which my father decided to do since he's in Milwaukee at the moment where I would be if it weren't for this damn surgery:mad: ).

I think this might be one of the few baseball movies with actual team licensing.

ensberg was around .306 last week. it's damn hard for someone to always hit at the pace this guy was. he'll be fine.
