We need to pull our heads out of our butts, and fast! Losing to a team run by Bud Selig is UNACCEPTABLE!:D

The 'Stros might be doomed. The Cards are without JD Drew and their closer. The Cubs look fantastic. Wood and Prior with Zambrano and Clement. They probably have the best starting staff in the division, certainly better than Houston's right now.

Bagwell just homered. Ausmus with a ground rule double.

Did Bagwell steal Berkman's soul during Spring Training? I don't think I've ever seen him start off this well. Too bad nobody seems to be getting on base for him...

I think we'll be fine as long as both Oswalt and Miller settle down a bit, and if we could get some consistency from the top of the order. I think it's pretty much a given that Berkman comes around.

Berkman will come around. It's too bad he got hurt, but that play at first when he did it really showed the heart and hustle he has. Tonight was a nice win, but Roy can't keep giving up 5+ runs. Maybe he just relaxed too much after we put up the 6 spot. We need to take the last 2 games of this series and then go to New York and win at least 2 of those.

How about Biggio hitting 5 HR's thus far. He is on pace to knock in 50! I wouldn't be surprised to see him shatter a bat this year and have corks flying out.

He didn't want to waste a position player to bunt a guy over. They optioned Chavez to the minors yesterday and brought up Linebrink so they are playing with one less bench guy.

Chavez cleared waivers so it is now up to him whether or not to accept the assignment.

Not judging by how he did at the plate. I guess our team just doesn't have very many good bunters...maybe outside of Lugo.

Send Greg Zaun down! I can't stand that guy! What is he good for besides a hat every fifth at bat?

Zaun is 5-15 with two doubles this year, and currently pinch hitting in the top of the 13th with two on and no outs.....

....and just grounded into a double play.....:(

Yeah, I think I will stick to my initial thought that the offense should be more of a concern than the pitching right now.

Sad sad sad....the rockets are starting to play like the Rockets. Losing a series to a terrible team.

Man the Astros must lead the majors in double plays because it seems like each game they hit into atleast 3 of them.

He had his 15 minutes of glory when he hit that walk-off grandslam against Arizona last season. He hasn't done a thing since.
