Did anyone check out Jimy's spin move Saturday night? His back to one ump and did a quick move to get to the other ump and b**** at the idiot again.

But how quickly can Prior return to form? Will his ankle and shoulder stay heathly? I don't think he will come off the DL and pitch like he was at the end of last year, not right away. For one, his arm strength will take some time to build back up.

The Cubs have some scary pitching, that is for sure. Let's hope Maddox continues to look over the hill and Prior hits some bumps

But the Astros can only worry about the their own games and winning those. If we can do that, I don't care what the Cubs do!

I'd rather face the cubs than Randy Johnson. Let's avoid him. The Cubs are a decent matchup tho'.

I think I know more about the Cubs than most Cub fans. I've been checking them out that much. Every loss by them brightens my day, as every victory pisses me off just a lil.

One thing I am for sure sick of hearing outta them is how the cubs are only 2 games out even though prior has been out and once he is back, stros have no chance, but yet, they fail to acknowledge that Roy O missed 20 starts last year and we only lost by 1 game. They love to have their arguments go both ways!

they have got to be the most arrogent, immature, cocky fans of any team that hasn't have back to back winning seasons in 30 years!

Dunno if this was posted, but I'll post it anyway. That ****ty umpire from the other night. Well:

"Jimy Williams adamantly denied bumping plate umpire Gary Darling on Saturday night while trying to get to second-base umpire Rob Drake, who is not even a regular umpire. Drake, a minor-league umpire, serves as a replacement for vacationing umpires."

    http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/2560039

What the hell. It's a month into the season and umpires are already taking vacations. What are those five months of offseason called?

Sweet. It's always good when Krukie takes your side.

I saw him play AA in Beaumont. Go Gators!

I totally agree. I have been checking out SC etc. just to find out if the cubs lost. I have even watched a number of their games this season. I hate the cubbies with a passion. They are getting so much love on ESPN etc. I wish we would get that much spotlight for being first in our division.

just random commentary but whats the deal on oswalt?

in some games he's been getting little run support, others he's giving up runs after 7 innings to blow it , and in others he's I dunno

with all the cy young talk for Roy-o in a season where he's perfectly healthy, just doesn't seem like a 2-1 record with 49 IP doesn't add up.

more confused rambling than anything I guess.

Don't worry about Roy... the fact that he's been pain-free, and flat-out DOMINANT at times, makes me feel like his record will get sorted out over the long stretch of the season.

Everything evens out... and Roy has yet to give up more than 3 ER in any start this year, going at least 6 innings in all of them... that's consistency at its finest.

And, if you take away one Bonds swing, and one sh**ty umpire, his ERA is microscopic.

Even as good as Clemens is pitching now, I'd still take Roy-O as our ace... provided he can keep the bubble-gum-bucket throwing at a minimum... :D

oswalt may be 2-1 but he's looked as nasty as i've ever seen him and like nick said is pitching pain free. when you see that 96 mph fastball followed by a wicked 68 mph curve it warms your heart. clemens may be pitching the best in baseball but roy's still our ace, his record will come around.
