The post season may be over before it starts. The Astros are limping to the finish line.

11 pitches. Cron hits basically a home run to me.

It sucks our stats and positioning are taking a hit, but there's still hope.

We are oozing talent, pitching and hitting. Let's hope we can put everything together come playoffs.

Wow we are one broken team, yea we may have talent, but that talent is just broken. The complete ass whippings we are taking lately are so deflating. Thank god for Verlander. He won us a game by himself. Outside of that we are the bacteria under dog sh*t this last week. But. We did SHAT a run.. Go team.

We need to stop playing minor league players. Even though those were the players who manufactured a run tonight. Fiers needs to be demoted again. Really baffling how the offense has gone in the tank.

The Astros won't be negatively affected by fatigue in the playoffs (like what we saw with the Rockets this year), and it will make a huge difference. Save this post.

We're getting swept in the first round. Save this post.

I will. How about you stop posting in the Astros forum if you're wrong?

You do realize that Mike Fiers won't go near a pitching mound in the playoffs? Tonight's result has no bearing on whether or not they can win a series against the Red Sox.

Now, they need to peg this
Yes, please, please, please stop posting here if they don't get swept in the first round. Be a man and promise that if they win at least one game in the first round, you will cease to post on here. Otherwise, please take your ridiculously negative **** elsewhere. For ****'s sake.

It sucks losing out to Cleveland for home field advantage, but in baseball it means very little. Let them capture the spotlight for now and let's stay off the radar and get under-appreciated. Maybe the Astros are holding back on us, no? I say we should get ready for the party boys!!!

It was managerial malpractice for Fiers to start another game this year, especially with an expanded roster.

Fiers won't touch the mound during the postseason and he gave up 8 runs today. The offense needs to turn it around but this is a weird game to have so many people freak out about afterwards. It was likely a loss before it even started.

The team only managed a total 2 run the last two games.
