I take a wait and see. I wouldn't have done it. I would prefer a lesser pitcher and keep Bloss for potential. I thought the same thing about Francis Martes though.... Maybe they see something to juice him up some. It's Dana's job. He's the one paying the price for getting it wrong, not us. He's willing to put his neck out there. If it blows up, maybe it means we move on from dana sooner rather than dragging it out.

He's a 5 inning pitcher. Hopefully with a change in sequencing will allow him to pitch 6-7 innings. Going through the order a 2nd-3rd time seems to be his issue. I was hoping he would be really low on the guys Brown would trade for, but after reading this I'm very optimistic. He's going to test Espada's managerial abilities but if used correclty this is a good trade. How many years does he have of team control?
