    Wow, so it’s truly a trade to allow guys a real chance into a ML team, and they get a talent like Coles back.

    I really liked Moran and Musgrove. But those guys need playing time, they are going to be cornerstones. With the Astros they were being blocked.

    Astros are clearing two 40 man spots in the process of this trade. They aren't even close to done.

    It's an interesting package for the Pirates but this type of trade was definitely a preferred option for the Astros. Love it.

    From a team building perspective, that's a decent deal for the Pirates. 3 current big-leaguers with 16 combined years of control left is a decent get. Plus a C+/B- ish prospect in Martin.

    I would agree with this. I like Musgrove, Moran, but understand that most don't have as high an opinion as I do in those two.
