I honestly have no interest in the All-Star Game. I would much rather watch the WBC, sans any Astros.

It shouldn't matter, that was the definition of "making mountains out of molehills". Look at what he's done before and after that game.
I was trying to say the same wrt the Altuve HOF discussion...the professional baseball writers/voters (in the case of the ASG, players/coaches) are not as reactionary/flakey/generally stupid as the rando baseball fan on the internet. Rando fan is just louder about things.
Lets see if the same applies to Edwin Diaz. Again, my preference is to keep as many Astros as possible at home on the couch, even though its only in Arlington.
Altuve is leading the phase 2 vote by a good margin but Yordan is currently beating out O’Hearn by a slim margin (51%). Let’s get him in there!
Tucker being injured ruined his all star chances. Orioles fans doing that thing where they flood the ballots (I'm reminded of that year the Royal's fans did the same thing).
Phillies fans did the same thing. The phase voting has at least somewhat alleviated the issue in that it becomes them versus every other teams fans. It appears for the most part that the vote in the 2nd phase has been mostly the better players winning so far. And yeah it’s unfortunate Tucker got hurt. Kwan definitely deserves it now.
